Which is better for SEO?Zen-cart or Magento?

Does anyone know which is better to SEO ranking? Zen-cart or Magento? Or is there any others that are better?

You will be alright with either... I personally choose Zen-Cart because I found it first and got to know it faster. As well I found the support to be friendly and helpful.

You can create perfect SEO with any cart, but by default Magento does have a better SEO configured.

 

Most good / popular open source carts are designed for SEO...but some basic SEO features can be looked for and will either be included or can easily be added as a plug in.

1- SEO URL format (with name or key product text in URL)
2- Included site map (standard site map at least if not google site map)
3- Meta tag editing for main site and other pages
4- default integration with google account
5- feed exports for Google Product Search and other marketplaces
6- ability to add additional content to category pages, main page, content pages

Someone might want to add some additional features to be included but outside of checking on these key features when looking at the two carts the ability to get inbound links and improve your site content are the best ways to improve your SEO for your site regardless of the platform.

 

there are no any differ between zencart and magento in seo field. both have seo addons\plugins. you can easily tweak them up.

 

They are both good but I heard Magneto is better.

 

I suggest ZEN-cart

both are working good but i usually use and prefer Magento. Both plugins working functionality is same

Magento... easy. It's a bit harder to learn the zen-cart... but its worth it.

Magento is better but apart from Magento and Zen-cart i think C.M.S is the best for SEO.
