    baidu is the biggest search engine for chinese language. if you know chinese, then you can easily find what you need from baidu.com or google.com. if you don't know any chinese language, then you don't need baidu seo for your website.

    I heared about baidu. ...... but i don't make site for china but i do for world.
    why to waste precious time for baidu. its already hard to make it in google.com
    why not devote this extra time for marketing

    I don't think a lot of people concentrate on Baidu as the chinese traffic is VERY hard to convert.

    I was actually just thinking about baidu SEO. I checked my traffic and I get a reasonable amount from it yet I don't rank all that well in it.

    I wouldn't worry about it unless your getting traffic from China. If you are, as mentioned above, you will need to know the language.

    No but they do. There's a very big online market platform called TaoBao.com there. But most of them don't know English so that if the banners are not Chinese based, people won't even know what you're showing. Sure they don't buy products from those English based websites.

    Baidu is the chinese search engine it has more than 60% market share than google. if you want to be in chinese market,you should rank on baidu search engine.if you need to do baidu seo then you must have to know the chinese language.
