At No. 1 in Google Not Getting More Visits..?

Hi There,

My website is on 1st position with "Cleaning Services" but not getting more visits..?

Although global monthly search volume is - 1,220,000 and local monthly search volume is - 368,000.

whats the reason behind this? please clear all concept i m confused..

I have also the same experience in fact i have many keywords on rank 1, rank 2 rank 3 etc yet I am not getting good traffics.
Is the adwords stats not real or it is because of too many ads in the Search engine?

Sometimes, it also depends on the description that is displayed on the search results. Some people tend to click on a site that has a nice description even though it's not listed on Top 1.

 

Hi... work on your content and check for your competitors content too.. and the traffic they are getting...

 

Make sure you are really #1. I notice I rank #1 for some keywords when I search from my area, but when my friend (located on the other side of the united states) searches... I rank like #3 for the exact same keyword.

 

My site is welive2care.com and the keyword is outbound call center. Its 1st and 2nd most of the time in US

 

You are #1 where I live in the US, excellent looking website also. You seem to have a well worded description and title also. I don't know why you are having problems with traffic.

 

Some valid points here, i think that seodash made a good point that even though you are number 1, if your description is terrible then it will not help traffic to your site as people dont click through. It needs to be informative but also eye catching. Also voslyn's comment is true, i think that certain IP addresses return different search results in Google because they are looking at different servers. Look at your competitors and change your description.

To drag traffic you need to work on SMO.

 

Thanks will08 for your compliment. Nice description really helps especially if your site is already ranked in the first page. You can still become competitive and can get good traffic even though you're not top 1.
