I have four wordpress blogs that all use the same theme. My opening page is only showing an excerpt from the first blog and it is making everyone have to click on the title to get to the page. How come my complete blog is not being seen without having to click through? Is it something in the template? An example is http://nickelsvilleva.com .
I suppose you have only one blog post and you haven't set up the permalinks yet. If you want to display the complete post on your blog's main page, then do not break the post by using the <!---- more ----> tag or 'page breaker' while using the visual tab. Then all posts would display entirely on the main page without making your users click on the title to go to the post. But, this is not good when SEO is taken into consideration.
I don't see any link for your text "» [...]" in your post, so it looks like it is actually defined in your template rather than generated by WP post breaK FUNCTION. I think in your template file index.php you have "the_excerpt()" instead of "the_content()". That's why you just see the excerpt of your post in your front page (index.php).
That was it. I found it in the index.php file. I could never understand why with wordpress you actually end up with more than one index page.
