    You do realize you're overpinging right? meaning you're hitting the same servers with the same url back to back each time u update a post? I only use pingomatic.. keeps it simple.. works great

    I use Maxblogpress ping optimiser plugin on wordpress which stops you pinging too frequently,or when editing posts etc. It is possible to get banned by ping services.

    I use Maxblogpress ping optimiser plugin on wordpress too. It's great as there's always 2-3 things I want to tweak in the few minutes after I've posted. I set mine to not ping again for half an hour.

    I should blog about that :)
    Sometimes I just forget stuff.

    Within your list you also have ping services that ping other servers for you when you send a ping to them. So, if you have included one of the servers they ping in your list, then you will get double pinged on that server.

    Pingoat is one of the services and I see two references to that in this list. There are others too.

    So what you want to do is make sure that you aren't including ping servers in your list that are also being pinged by the ping servICES in your list.

    I dont advice this for new users who dont have much knowledge into this.
    i think pingomatic is better.
