How to find out color code

Hi all,

How do I obtain the colour code (in say RGB or HEX) of any area I pinpoint on an image on a webpage?

I heard that there is a colour match facility in photoshop but I cant find it....

You just double click on the colour swatch in photoshop

 

There is a tool in photoshop which is called color picker .. You can use it.

 

I do it manually, I take a screenshot, paste it in paintshop pro, and it finds it for me -

 

I'd (2) the recommendation to use ColorZilla. It's very easy to use and was good to me for years.

You could download the image and use the 'Eyedrop Tool' in a photo editing program (eg. Photoshop).

 

Adobe photo shop is the best software for photos in my view and it has great tool of color you also check the above information but its fantastic tool.
