Hosting providers? Webmasters please help me choose webhosting provider

    Hi friends,

I have five websites. Each website gets about 2000 visits and 5000 impressions per day. I am currently running my website on dedicated hosting which costs around $150 per month.

Today I have came across fatcow.com which is offering unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidthm, unlimited websites and lot of other features for $66/year. I have contacted them through online support and they are saying that they don't have any problem to host websites with huge traffic and database.

I am afraid that they will suspend the account because of huge traffic and databases. I truly appreciate any review or suggestions from the webmaster using fatcow.com.

friends please suggest me any hosting provider which is cheap and best and which don't have any problem with huge traffic and databases.

Thanks for your valuable time and help

You might be able to get away with a shared account... however a VPS is probably what you need...

What resources are you currently using per month ? such as bandwidth and disk space... ?

I think a VPS would be good solution then a dedicated server. Don't go to shared hosting they will surely suspend you.

I think vps will be enough for you, if you're already on a dedi, don't try to move to a shared hosting as in a shared you're only permitted to use a tiny resource, get a vps instead

    You can check:

    Snoork Host or Gohost.me

I have sites hosted in both and both provide great service and support. Snoork will be a little pricey but there service justifies it.
Also if u want, get in touch with me and i can provide you a 50% discount coupon for Snoork host, you can check their page following the link in my signature :)

If you really want any good providers with instant support, I would recommend HawkHost, VPSLatch or Serverint. You can check out webhostingtalk.com as well for reviews.

Hostgator is the best - use coupon code hostbidscom and get about $10.00 off 1st month

Hostgator.com and find the vps you will be fine with the $30.00 range one.

Just get a VPS to make your site better (offshore prefered, because they usually don't limit the resources)

I don't think FatCow's Shared hosting can even handle one of your site, judging with that amount of traffic you mention.

As many suggested you rather go for a VPS or Dedicated server. If your current server specs serves you well then I suggest you take that as one your requirement. There are a lot of provider offers same specs with different prices.

But I think it will also be nice if you take one site at a time. Like get a smaller VPS and transfer one site and see what happen, if you get a good result then you now have option to migrate another one, and I suggest one VPS per one site, but for sure it won't be easy to manage.

I personally don't think you should be paying more than $50 a month for your hosting, unless your doing some very intensive processing in the background. A good shared account should do what you want, but a VPS with 1GB of ram will be able to. Get managed support.

And finally ask the prospective company- tell then what you want and it makes it hard for them to later say your site doesn't fit their guidelines! If you ask you could get nice discount or cashback (like my sig :) ) and possibly even some assistance in you move.

Best bet would to be to go to webhostingtalk.com and ask there.

Do not however, go with anyone that offers unlimited bandwidth and or disk-space.

Be sure they will suspend your account.
I suggest you to buy a VPS service. It is the best choice for you.
