well niche like health & insurance etc just work with seo.. do seo as much as you can.. direct traffic is very very low.. because people google for solutions.

Its recession every where now no one is paying that much now days. Yes they they were paying that much before but not now days .no one is paying 50 for one click and in just two clicks 100 without getting a single penny back .
