    Lastly, to have a realistic approximate of how many visitors you need in order to make 20.00 with your Adsense account in one day, you should head to your account and check your eCPM. This stands for “Effective Cost Per Thousand”, This metric is a projection of your earnings if you received one thousand impressions. This is how it is calculated:

    eCPM =(EE/I) * 1000
    Where: EE= Estimated Earnings and I= Impressions. So, eCPM= Estimated Earnings divided by Impressions, then this result multiplied by 1000.

    This is what you have to do:

    1.- Go to your Adsense account and check your eCPM.
    2.- Multiply your objective earning by 1000. In your case it would be: 20*1000 = 20,000
    3.- Divide the result by your eCPM

    So, if you have an eCPM of, for instance, $30.00, you would say:
    20 * 1000 / 30 = 667

    So theoretically you would need 667 impressions to have an earning of $20.00 with an eCPM of $30.00.

    Please keep in mind that visitors and impressions are different.

    I hope this helps.

    How much you get per click really does vary depending on the niche, although it is suggested that money focused niches do pay better. Eg. Loans, Credit Card, Mortgages.

    It would be more beneficial if users can also post their niche.

    One of our sites is a home & garden info site converts at 1.2% @ average $0.50 per click.

    Increase your traffic to your website to increase your adsense earnings. Simple.

    I run quite a few sites, but overall one or two of my sites generate the bulk of the daily revenue. I'm averaging $150 per day across my entire collection of sites. Sunny weekends suck for my niches. Tuesdays and Wednesdays strangely enough are my best days. My advice would be to focus on a well-paying niche that isn't too crowded and become an authority. Plug, plug, plug away at link building and building a quality site people want to visit. My main money-maker site has a bounce percentage of 17% average, which mean people come and stay...

    well. what is the main reason to have low ctr and eCPM? i understand that eCPM is more important. but sometimes it doesn't exceed .050%.. Even if i have near 30.000 impr and more than 200 clicks.
