Easier to rank for yahoo but no one uses yahoo lol. Just focus on SEO best practices and you will be fine on all search engines.

I'd just focus on Google. Thats where the real traffic is. And Yahoo will figure it out ; )

Google is the one to focus on for SEO, but Yahoo can be a great tool for we webmasters. Yahoo has the best search tool for looking at backlinks

They are very different but i would just make good content on your sites and let the SE's sort it out instead of wasting time trying to get great results in both.

Use good SEO practices... it will help you with BOTH engines. They both have their own algorithms, so if you're going to focus on one or the other, focus on Google since they have 70% of the search marketshare.

Both is the same, the seo factors are same for both the search engines....Google is the best search engine used all over ..most of the seo's target Google itself ...because the traffic is more compare to yahoo....the serp tool has all the search engines results on the same page......

Here in the UK 85% of search is done using Google. If your site ranks for Google it is likely to rank for Yahoo.

Google Algorithm & Yahoo Algorithm is not same.
But Your SEO work strategy is same for both search engines. So don't worry about Algorithm and do continue your On-Page & Off-Page Activities for Your Websites.

Personally I feel no difference between optimizing my websites for Yahoo and Google. Quality content plus backlinks , it is the ranking factor for both search engines. Any way I feel yahoo like keyword spamming a little more than Google.
