Hi after a lot of researching I found finally a domain that is still free and has the keyword and nothing else in it.
So I want to rank high for "keyword", would it be good to go with word-key.com???
The most search for "keyword" and some search for "key word". WOuld you register it or save this 10$?

If the name still makes sense after changing the position of the words.... by all means, go ahead and take it! :)

I have seen the serp result vary a bit with the interchanging of words.... so I guess google would not treat it to be an exact match! :(

Save your money. These reverse domains are a dime a dozen, and are not seen as exact matches by Google. On top of that, you have a hyphen you don't need.

You're better off with keyword + another word, preferably with some meaning.
