    I find it more difficult to concentrate on the text on image #2.

    Image #1 allows the details and concentration to focus on a higher level, meaning the text is easier to read. Also, theoretically, number 1 has the wings facing upwards which signifies a positive emotional feeling, while number 2 is degrading.

    There are two opponent meaning in these logos. In the first one its the victory, happiness which you want to deliver to your customers. And in the second one the logo looks like you're a loser. As if the company is just a fail.

    So 'd go with the first one.

    #1 is defintely better, it draws the users eyes into the text instead of away to the black design ;)

    I chose logo 1 and found that no one choose logo 2. Logo 2 is kind of low-key style, and logo 1 is positive and uplifting.
