For Yahoo answers, do you get better results from linking directly to the product via your affiliate link, or do you link to your blog/website related to the niche?

 

Thank you for this information. It's really good as a quick overview of different free traffic methods. I just wanted to contribute with my 2 cents on the SEO bit.

From my experience, the best way to go about finding links to your site is to analyze your competition. Do google search for the keyword you're trying to rank for. Now look at the 10 or 20 first listings. Use whichever tool you like (Linkscape, Market Samurai, Yahoo site explorer) to find out where these guys are getting their links from and then try to get a link from these sites.

If you combine this approach with the other traffic methods and some article submission, you should be able to dominate your niche if the competition is low-moderate.

Direct linking won't work with Yahoo Answers as your account will quickly get banned. Don't use affiliate links or redirects, the community will report you. Instead provide quality/insightful answers and link your answer to your landing page (use the resource box for that, don't put the link in the answer's body)

Great tips, definitely studying the competitors is one of the most important things. (Reverse engineering)

See what others have done to rank their websites (get valuable links) and do it yourself.

And yeah .. Yahoo site explorer is a great tool to start off with and it's free as well.

Good stuff - be very careful with the answer sites though - I handle those by placing a link to an article, never a direct site link. Yahoo is notorious for kicking people off....

good tips for everyone who want to more sales but yes its about take action, not just read the post and forget it, many people read lot of things and dont take any action,,, if you realy want some good sales follow this tips and you will get good result ,

Direct linking is not the best option on Craiglist, you can use your own domain though.

I wrote quite a few ebooks myself (3) that's true but none of them related to Clickbank.

you HAVE to do you keyword research first. When you have a good keyword it doesn't matter if you use web2.0, video or articles. Most visitors comein via google anyway
