Weird SERP boost

    Hello,

    Just checked my websites for any changes and something happend this afternoon that i can't explain. Last weeks i was dropping SERP on many keywords (guess it had something to do with a PR issue i had some time ago. PR dropped from 1 to 0 because i got indexed with http:// instead of http://. So no backlinks, etc was PR drop.) but today everything changed:

    Is there any explaination for this (Google Caffeine) or is finally pay time for the days i spend on it? (PR is still 0 so i doesn't have anything to do with that.)

    Its Google Sandbox and it will be happened sometimes. You will lost your position and your indexed pages for a while and then after sometime, it will be returned ans every thing will be OK. Don't worry about it.

    Check if your backlinks increased with or without www.
    If there are some inclement in counts, the changes may last long as long as you keep getting backlinks.

    Maybe finally everything is back to normal since my site get indexed with http:// instead of http://www and Google could check my website with the normal backlinks incoming at the right URL.

    It does not have anything to do with PR being up or down.

    All websites have a score for each KW. G has 200+ factors that determine the score. Scores are constantly being recalculated for each site. A big move upward in my opinion is usually related to increased *trust* which then increases your score for those KWs which then raises your position in results pages.

    My guess would be that 1 or 2 BLs from a trusted site have now matured giving your site a trust boost.

    No, I think it is almost end of week/month for it to revise its rankings. Or it is because all your sandbox got expired. Who knows, Google is God, God is Faith, Faith is SERP :)

    I understand that PR and SERP are to different things. But the links that make your PR can also have anchor texts that could bring your KWs up. The keywords that increased the most are keywords with anchor text links incoming. Ofcourse this doesn't explain the other few that increased because most of the keywords don't have any or only a few backlinks incoming.
