@simmo125 - I personally do not have the same list as is given here, I have tested, added and removed sites from my own list. So you could well have a point that the list given here is not all that good.

@everyone - You need to look at this for what it is, a way to get your site noticed faster. Of course the links that you generate are going to be of a low quality but they are very natural links so it is a good way to go when you are getting a site off the grown and want to get in noticed fast.

There are SOOO many ways to generate good high relevence high PR backlinks that the fact this technique doesnt do that shouldnt be a problem.

To go into a little more detail, some of the sites in the list have links back to your site. so thats where the backlinks come from.

the script that has been given in this thread generates the URLs for your site and then pings them so that the search engines find them and index any backlinks that point to your site.

The problem is the backlinks are not all that powerful so will not help you rank particually well, this method is however very good for getting your site nnoticed fast, so that you can get your site indexed within just a few hours.

If you want to get good backlinks to your site you need to put some effort into finding high PR, high relevance sites to get links from.

This is not a hard task if you know what you are doing.

No they are not all do follow and they do not all even link to your site at all.

Some of them link to some of the other pages that are in the list, they page they link to then links to your site.

As far as nofollows are concerned. I think that no follow links do still count towards your backlinks, I have tested it and no follows do help rank.

They just stop spiders from following the link onto your site, but chances are if you have lots of links the spiders will follow some other link to your site.

Some of those links will be no follow or redirects but some will be useful.
