How to drive traffic to my blog??I need some advice.

I have created a blog on blogger.com
I put some clickbank products on it
But i don't know how to drive traffic to my blog
and sell out products?

 

You can submit your blog to blogcatalog.com and keep updating the contents.

 

I like to write articles about my niche and post them to the article directories. If you can write a compelling article and a resource box will a strong call to action, you'll get a ton of traffic from the bigger directories like Ezines and ArticlesBase.

Another plus with articles is the backlinks you'll get.

 

Use social media, by engaging to your target audience.

I use Forum Marketing And Blog Commenting, but I drive traffic to a squeeze page (a one page website with the only purpose of getting people to sign up).

Personally, I do not think it is a good idea to promote sales directly. I think you should be giving value first and then sell.

That said, I use these 2 methods to drive traffic to my squeeze page:

1-Forum Marketing

Search for forums in your related niche (either in google or big-boards.com) and join there.

First read the rules specially about signatures there and then start giving value to the forum. Participate, ask questions etc.

You will see that by giving value, people will begin to notice you. And you will get clicks to your website.

2-Blog Commenting

Search for blogs in your niche, you could use google blog search for that. And just post genuine comments after reading the article.

 

the best thing you can do is write good articles and submit them to some social bookmarking sites, get them indexed in google, build links and twitter about your blog (you will need followers to attract them to your blog of course)

Start by optimizing it using On-page and Off-page SEO tactics. SEO is free if you do it yourself, if not it entails some financial investment. Once optimized you can start investing in other marketing methods like email marketing, banner ads, text ads, among others.

Create groups on Facebook

Get active on Twitter

Answer questions on Yahoo Answers and other QA sites

Join blogcatalog and search for groups that help each other drive traffic to their blogs

Write articles and submit them to ezinearticles. Don't bother with the rest of them.

Submit articles from your site and your articles on ezinearticles to sites like stumbleupon, digg and reddit. Not only will people check out your site if it's an interesting article but you'll get a back link as well.

 

one best thing to drive traffic to blog is to spend lot and lot of times being active members on forums; build up relationship with other members, share information, etc..

 

Spend time reading other blogs and adding appropriate comments. Do not just spam a bunch of blogs in the hopes of getting others to visit your site. Thoughtful comments will go much farther in drawing people to your site.

 

Content content and content! Blogs that have lots of QUALITY content will get traffic EASY! Make sure you use a solid SEO plugin for your post...

 

I have used facebook recently to bring a lot of traffic to my blog. Create a "like page or Fan page" and use networked blogs to auto post to that page. ask friend to like the page and watch it grow from there. I usually get around 50-100 visitors a day right now and I just started promoting the page.

 

Traffic, traffic, and more traffic. Can you post your blog link? This way people can take a look at it and give some pointers as to your content and layout. Remember people DO NOT like spam. So if your blog is just full of ads, your not going to get any quality traffic to come your way. You need to build up a reputation. Offer some good information. Everyone in the world likes free stuff. Give out some information for free. You will get noticed.

As was mentioned earlier. Add value wherever you post your link. You do not want to spam forums or blogs. In fact a lot of blogs out there have it set so all comments have to be moderated by the blog owner. So, spamming them would be useless anyways. And this is not about wasting time. If you need content and your not good at writing Hire a writer and pay someone to do it for you.

Sometimes you need to outsource. I have used Digital Point to find web designers. Its a great source for everything including writers. When it comes to outsourcing remember that you get what you pay for. So, if someone can give you top quality work your going to have to pay for it. Since your new your probably going to have to pay first if your working with any experienced writer.

This of course is my opinion and it does matter.

In addition to articles and SEO, credit-based safelists are very effective. Bottom line for either of these options is the attractiveness of your ad copy. Traffic goes where the copy compels it to go.
