Moneybookers Bank Transfer Time

Discussion in 'Payment Processing' started by SiL^Er_HunTeR, Jun 22, 2010.

    Hey everyone,

I have a withdrawal(bank transfer) that I initiated on June 14th. The next day on the 15th the status changed to processed, I thought "great, I should have my money in my account in the next few days". However it's now June 22, & nothin.

I called my bank (Amtrust located in the United States) & they said nothing is coming through & no transfer is being processed.

I then called Moneybookers customer service, they kinda gave me the run around, although he did say to send a screenshot of my bank acct transactions from June 14-22 to prove I haven't received it, which I'm going to do.

Has this happened to anyone else when dealing with Moneybookers??

How long does it usually take for a withdrawal to your bank acct with Moneybookers??

This is my first time using them, I also use GoogleCheckout & Alertpay but wanted a third option.

Thanks in advance for all replies :)

These days Monwybookers is taking so much time to send money to bank accounts. I withdraw money on 10th june 2010 and the payment came to my bank account on 22nd june 2010. Maybe you get your money to your bank account in next two or three days.

Should take a few business days ( according to what their support staff / other members say ) but I'm not yet completely sure as I requested the withdrawal 2 days ago and still waiting for it, too. Will update this upon receiving what I requested ..

Usually I get my transfers from Moneybookers in about 3-4 days. There is only one time that it tooks more than 10 days, but there were bank holidays in England.

Thanks a bunch for all the replies here, really appreciate it :)

It's a relief to hear that sometimes Moneybookers does take around 10 days for a transfer, although that's a super long time

Just an update for me, it's day 9 (banking day 7) since they updated it to "processed" & so far no transfer yet, still waiting, will update when I get it!!

Just a little side note also, I transferred a smaller amount from Alertpay which is supposed to take 2-5 days, & I received it the next day, could this have anything to do with Moneybookers being based in the UK & Alertpay being based in the U.S.??

    I'm in the U.S., thanks!

If you do a withdraw like on a Monday morning their time you should have it by Wednesday of that week it also depends on how fast your bank processes payments.

Yes it depend on location from where to where you are doing the transfer. The last time I did take me 1 week to make the fund available in my account. However for the next transfer it will only take 2-3 working days.

Even I would like to know why your a/c was closed, did you get any email regarding that?
was your bank a/c /address/credit card verified?
There has to be a reason for closure, keep us updated we all would like to know.

You should verify your bank account info on your MB account. I've been with MB for quite some time now. Never had a problem with them so far. Wire transfer from them do take 10-15 days though.
