Hi, My paypal has been limited coz of some external access and they are asking for Proof of address verification .. The problem is that I have Indian address in my pp and now I am living in Nepal .. I called paypal and they say that I need to show them proof of any kind with my previous address (not the new one) and only then will they remove the limitation .. I have money stuck there ... can anyone please tell me how to I fix it ?? Can anyone help me get some kinda proof of address with my previous address ... I will be very grateful ...
What other documents do they require? If you live in Nepal why did not u use ur own address, i think pp support nepal.
yeah pp support nepal but only for receiving .. if I have nepali pp then i can't send money thru it .. And my current paypal id has indian address and i dont have any support bills for it .. i tried talking to them but in vain .. they just want bill of some kind with my previous address for verification ..
Why don't you arrange for indian address proof by calling your neighbours or relatives in india ? DON.
Deluxdon ... is it possible ?? Can something like that can be arranged ?? How ?? Do I need to go to India myself ?
Is it OK to supply address documents in someone Else's name? Your suggestion seems to imply just that... and hence the doubt! Regards, RightMan
well I've called paypal and they said the documents need to be in my name and the address must be the one with I registered .. I can't change the address and send them some documents with my new address ..
Do any of the utility company's you used in india have online billing? If they do you could get like a pdf copy of the bill with your old address on it then print it out and fax it to paypal.
RM - OP said in his first post that he is having indian pp account and now living in Nepal that means previously he lived in India so i am suggesting him to call his relative/neighbour to arrange his old address proof (bill etc.). DON.
Actually the problem is I have an indian account but i didn't live in India ever ... i just created one and got a VCC for verification .... I am from Nepal and we can only receive in pp here ... So what can I do now with my pp account ??
Virtually in India? that's why Paypal has limited your account. If I say that I have a Nepal address and never live there, it does not make any proof.
But there is no other options too man ... I make my living off online business and the most preferable way for paying and receiving payments it thru paypal and here in Nepal we can't use it ... so what else could I have done ?? and now my money's stuck there ... what should i do ??
Here I can say try alternative may be moneybookers, 2co, pilmus, Paypal is right from their side. And if possible try to get snail mail cheque thats is best, though time consuming. Don't want to disappoint but I'm sorry to say that probably nobody can help you. Bangladesh, Pakistan - they have the same paypal problem. Ask them what alternative they use.
Well if you use a FAKE address then it was bound to happen and you must be using Nepal IP address so paypal is going to know it sooner or later. If its huge money you can try something (everything is possible in India and Nepal),if you can live without that money forgot that one (I guess paypal will release that after 6 months, not so ?) If you can not live without paypal ,may be open a office in India and work from there part time.Bangladesh, Pakistan Don't have that liberty but a Nepali can do that easily in India as no VISA required to work or to get Jobs in India (and You guys still hate India and try to keep China happy!)
what do you mean by (everything is possible in India and Nepal) ?? i am willing to pay the price .. just name it ..
See, its simple. Paypal do not verify each and everything, just change your address in india and keep it as nepal and send to paypal. I am sure, they dont verify. You are not cheating their money. just you are taking your money, so why do you worry?
hate to here about your situation, you could do more research on google to see if there are any more solutions.
