Is that true that commenting on blogspot's blog is useless?

I love to use blog commenting to get backlink. Does anyone have any experience about blogspot's blog? I notice while using searchstatus plugin, all of blogspot didn't do follow by default

 

Well, it's owned by Google... So did you really think the default would be DOFOLLOW? They were instrumental in creating the rel="nofollow" attribute to combat blog comment spam years ago, so why would you think they might have reversed their position?

In my own experiences, any backlinks with correct anchor text would benefit our SERP, no matter dofollow or nofollow.

I using SearchStatus plugin for Firefox, my habit, I always check first before leaving a message/comment on a blog, to ascertain whether or not the blog, with SearchStatus I can easily see that a blog does not follow, and I notice all of those blogspot.com blog is not follow.

If you are getting back links for Page rank then these are useless. If you are getting back links for gettting traffic then it is better. Keep it up.

 

They are no follow from years back, If you consider creating such for backlink it is useless if for traffic it is beneficial. But I suggest you to do comment on them don't just stop commenting they will provide benefit in long term for traffic.

 

I think any links are helpful as long as it's relevant and your comment is relevant.

 

It's very nice thing to do a blog commenting for getting backlinks unless you do spamming but it also important to see whether it is do follow or no follow and i don't think blogspot is do follow site.

If those blogs are dofollow then count as a back link and get traffic. If those blogs are nofollow then get traffic.
Blog commenting is more helps for us.

 

all blogspot blogs has nofollow attribute on comments but doing commenting on nofollow blogs is beneficial for only traffic not for PR and SERP.

 

Sure it is useful, if it has proper anchor text.

*some* blogspot blogs are dofollow, depends if the owner has any clue or not.

we have one, but I would heavily advise against spamming it, you'll probably get embarassingly outed.
