24 Hour Banner Advertisement Contest - $40 Paid Via Paypal

I am back with yet another awesome contest! I need 2 banner advertisements for monthly raffles being given out by DEGREEFASH[dot]COM. The sizes I need are 468x60 and 415x215. Please be creative with the banners!

Banner 1. The 468x60 banner must say "click here to enter our monthly raffle" and match the color scheme of the website. - Be creative ... I can do a simple banner on my own but I want something better than what I can do myself.

Banner 2. The 415x215 banner should look similar to this (http://www.degreeflash.com/new/images/june.gif) but should be much much better! ... BE CREATIVE

This contest will end 12:00pm PST on Tuesday 6/22. $40 Payment will be made via paypal to the winner. I have hosted many contests and always pay the winners quickly. There may or may not be a $10 runner up prize. Thank you.

I'm in! The 2 banners need to be identical in terms of design right? Or, do you want 2 different banner designs entirely?

 

The designs can be the same or different. It is up to the designers. They MUST have the information in them that I specified in the original post.

 

Here is my try -



The banner can be resized proportionately to fit any size needs. Additionally, I have added an option to include extra bullet points like texts so that you can offer the maximum info to your visitors. However, in case you feel that these texts are not needed then I can replace them with a nice & traditional books/degree/education related image (that is also WEB 2.0 -ish too!).

P.S. - Any other things can also be changed/replaced/omitted if you want them to be done.

MakZF - Not quite what I am looking for. I need something with more flair

technoguy - Nice design and concept. Would I be able to edit the text for future drawings on the 415 x 215 design?

Here is my second/alternate entry which you can use as the 460x215 banner. You can choose to use any one of them. Please click on the 2 links to view the full sized images, otherwise you might miss the details of the actual design.




Designed in vector and then ported to Photoshop for convenience! JPEG+PSD will be provided if you want em. It is extremely customizable and is easy to mess around with. Of course the other banner I already posted above can also be used as the 468x215 design in any case. The banners shown here are in high DPI png24 format for maximum quality. However, in WEB Jpeg format the banner will be within 34 Kilobytes only ensuring maximum speed in terms of loadtime.

Feedback is much appreciated as it helps me to be of a better caliber in future. So win or lose, please do provide feedback/criticism/boos/woos etc!
