    I just started doing this a week ago and I have already notice a jump in my ranking! From page 5 to the 1st page of google and yahoo. If anyone has tried this please provide feedback.

    Yes, I do agree with you, I have also worked on a website that was based on PAD file submission and got very good jump in competitive keywords. So it works!

    It does work but the effects are temporary. In the following weeks, your links will be buried deep in the PAD file site. Then you'll have to resubmit. If you resubmit too often you risk being blacklisted.

    Well its not like that.It really depends on the kind of software you are going to submit.Every site that i start i make sure that i submit them to list of 50 PAD directories.Some of them are as high as PR8 inner page.
    If you submit ebooks or screensavers then you wont get into premium PAD directories.

    I use promosoft to send out my pad files and I usually send out to 600 pad directories or more. I dont know if there are all premium sites but I have notices an hike

    I agree it helps but for the matter in hand you need to submit to the only directories that have reputation else your site will definitely get penalized by google in 1 to 1.5 months. I myself have witnessed it.

    i personally recommend that if u are promoting software related website..go for software(PAD) submission it works a lot. i had gain lot's of traffic from there...

    start by downloading PAD Gen thats how you create the PAD file, only fill out the first 4 tabs, also download padexpress for submission. If you need help just pm me
