Links from no follow websites

Will it be harmful for my site, if I get links from no follow website ?

It will not be harmful but also not very beneficial.

 

yes it will be not useful in building links as the links will not be indexed by google.

I am not agree with you.. you can still get trafiic from nofollow link .. yes Google will no follow it.

 

It's natural to get nofollow links. A site that had none would have an unnatural links profile, which in itself could flag it up as 'spammy'

No follow links are not helpful even you can get lot of traffic from no follow website.

 

You won't have benefit of it in Google (Thats want you want to know i guess because your posting in the google category).

and nofollow backlink still will benefit your site in other search engine

 

As long as the links are in a visible area and the site has good traffic who cares if page rank is transferred. It is traffic you are after afterall.

 

Google still follows links having nofollow. But they will not vote for website is linked. However, traffic is more important then Bot of Google.

 

No follow link do not hurt your rankings or anything like that In fact they are great for getting new sites indexed. Because they are no follow does not mean that the google bot can't crawl them. It just means they don't pass on any SEO benefit

It's very beneficial. Coz if you have only do-follow backlink - it is very unnatural. And Google hates unnatural links

It is just an indication to the search engine to "not" follow the link, it does not mean that the link is useless.

 

I agree completely. Sometimes... it is good to get backlinks even from a nofollow sites/pages, particularly if these are high trafficked ones. They would help your site gain visibility... immensely!
Also... majority of the people avoid posting links on such pages.. and so it kind of helps your link to stand out... prominently!

Really? How come if Google isn't following the no-follow links will know that you actually have them other than do-follow?

 

Nofollow links serve to lead visitors to your site, not search engines.

Let's say I'm visiting the website where your non-follow link is. If it's appealing to me I will click on it, that's it.
