PR Trick! Setting up a PR5 blog on wordpress Fast.

Wanted to share a little thing I discovered recently.

Have you noticed how easy it is to create a PR5 blog on wordpress, as urblog.worpress.com if you write enough contents...... with enough tags.

Looks like all pages in the blog gets link back from wordpress/tag/Keyword.

I don't know if it is the only reason, but when I did a link:domain on one of a WP pr5 site, all the thousand odd banklinks are from wordpress.com/tag/Keyword. The site is comfortably PR5.

Another Lesson: If indeed the PR5 was due to the tag backlinks, then sitewides are not bad after all.

 

Blogging is the best method of seo. (dont hurt me for that)

although all the links are comming from the same IP address, as long as the blog has a lot of very good content, you should be able to have a very successful method of optimizing your main website.

I would like some more info, like how many posts do you have and what is the average number of posts per month/week/day to reach pr5?

 

One question here...If you do get a link back from a particular tag, doesn't the same tag give a link back to the hundreds or millions of guys who use it, especially if the tag is something common. That reduces the value you get from that tag a lot.

 

That is true, but when you get thousands of links and the site tagging back is of PR8-10, the value does'nt diminish.. and the PR5 is not bad.. get a 100 more good links from directories and other blogs and you get PR6

 

Well you have to do some massive post initially. I'd say category wide , if you are posting about a niche, create about 30-35 categories, and pots like crazy for a few days, and then slow down to one a day.. 2 months and you will get the PR5.. Am I sharing too much..lol...

I've noticed this also when I was researching some link purchasing, checking backlinks, there was a someblog.wordpress.com blog with PR5 and checking the backlinks most of them were from wordpress/tag/keyword

 

Some people get high page rank fast in blogging, others don't necessarily get it.

For example, I can't seem to get it past 3 for some reason on my site.

 

I wonder if it's possible to get some of this wordpress love without actually using wordpress. Hmm. Time to go look at some wordpress source. haha.

 

I guess it is only with wordpress.com. And sadly you cannot tweak the template either , but you sure can build a portfolio of PR5 websites.. just imagine what you can do with that

The best thing about blogging is that every new post is a unique page, and if you can optimage each post.. there is no stopping you... I had some blogs long before I couldn't differentiate SEO from SEX, and when I realised that they now have pr 5, I feel glad as well as sad that i didn't start more

Why would anybody be bothered about increasing PR?

 

There is a cvertain snobbery coming from some high PR sites. Yes I want more visitors.

One site I visited, had the following rules.

I considered that I met thefirst requirement - and I set up the link. And so meeting the one of the two other requirements.

I got the following response

Most peoples link exchanges tend to be on the basis of a link that says LINKS on the home page, Then it opens a Chategory of Links, and then goes to the link its self. That is organisation. How the hell is that too deep, when on the site in question, it is organised the same way.

ONOTHER LINK SNOB aproaced me with the following request

Then came back

My home page is PR5 but I won't clutter it with links or I won't have visiters what the hell to these damn snobs want, a link is a link, itis promotion for goodness sake, surely it is better than no link at all

Of course I have removed the link that I made after replying with the following

 

To get new sites indexed faster
To charge for text links
To make the site look "authority"
For fun
