Domain Name Scam?

I was just wondering what you guys thought of this.
A guy on ebay is selling 30-40 domain names all with PR between 1-2, yet all of the domains seem to have been registered in the last month and are showing no IBLs. Is this the old redirect trick again?

i suspect there using that trick yes

if i wanted i could reg a domain today and make it have pr9 but im not a scammer.

 

I was suspicious when I saw the renewal date otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered checking for such a low PR, this guy is probably just buying domains for $5 and making 100%+ profit each time.

 

I doubt he is even buying them as they are all .info's

 

I don't see a lot of value in them at all.

at least the registrars are happy. I remember when .cc announced their fake $1 Millions sale for beauty.cc to get people to register every .cc out there for 50 bucks trying to hit the next jackpot.

 

How in the world is this possible.

for example. But you'd still have to wait for toolbar pr to update which seems to take forever. So I'm not sure how he could get pr in under a month?

 

.info sites costs only $2.95 for the first year...
