How long until you can see your new backlinks?

After adding many backlinks for a site, how long must one expect to wait until seeing that the search engine backlink count has gone up?

 

that depends on how long the search engines crawl the sites you have links on.

 

It is not a steady /static time for backlink count by SE , you need to make indexing faster by some steps like pinging, regular updating site etc....

 

If you want your links to be found a little faster and you know where your links have been posted, put them into something like rssmix to make a feed of them and ping that feed.

The backlinks will be available only when search engine crawl the pages where your link added.

 

I never know how lot of time and hard work I`ll spend for my site. I`m like in a competition or a business. PR seems to be a result of that continuous hard work.

 

It depends on where do you get the backlink and if you are getting the backlink from a blog which is visited regularly by the bots, you can check your site's backlinks soon.
