Finding out if your website is ‘Sandboxed' is quite simple. If your website does not appear in any SERPS for your target list of keywords, or if your results are highly depressing (ranked somewhere on the 40 th page) even if you have lots of inbound links and almost-perfect on-page optimization, then your website has been Sandboxed.

When the ranking of the web site has been decreased all of a sudden than may be the site got penalty and it may be in the sandbox.

Does the Sandbox apply to aged domains?

It happened to one of my sites for almost two months before it is uplived again. My mistakes are too aggressive in article marketing for many links within the same period

search for your domain name in google. Your website should come in first position if it doesn't it means there is something wrong. Or else if had rankings for your targeted keywords and suddenly if it had disappeared that would also indicate some kind of penalty.

I am quite familiar with the Google slap. The googlebot likes to see slow gradual progression of links. If you get too many links too fast, you get slapped.

No. There are many different types of penalty from Google.

Yes sandbox apply to aged domains , if your website recorded as illegal spam activity by any robots you are pushed to sandbox automatically .
    and kept under review.

If your site is new, maybe it has not been indexed yet. You do not have to think it has been 'sandboxed'. Now, if your site has been online for sometime and has good on-site and off-site SEO, and can not be found in your SERP's, then you can suspect it has been 'sandboxed'. Also, if your PR appears grayed out, that might be another signal.

Well my friend I think the position that you mentioned over here means that the site is out of sandbox. If the site is in sandbox you will not see your site on any page in search engine.

How many times does this have to be repeated. The Sandbox does not exist. It is a myth and excuse put about by poor SEO advisers when their attempts at SEO either backfires or doesn't work at all. You can not get penalised due to external backlinking otherwise it would be the most abused of all SEO tactics
