Does Forum Signature is worth still?

Hey Guys, recently i talked to one Australian webmaster who runs his dating website.. we had a discussion on one point he quoted these days forum signatures are not counted much on Google.. is it true? I could not understood at that time what he meant to say, do you guys have any ideas regarding this..

 

as my experience forum backlink can boost your ranking.

 

Forum signature build reputation on very low rate but stay for life time. Its depend on you where you attach you signature it most important that your signature must look natural and on high pr forum page. If you get link on pr 5 page then it sure worth you.

 

yea its true , i like this link building , but why dont you try article submissions . this way is real great , traffic and pagerank juice

 

I think forum signature still works because it is still show in webmasters tool, well a do follow backlink is still important to me.

 

Hey I totally agrees with you that forum signature build reputation in very low rate but moreover i do feels if it is done in the right way using appropriate title, tags related to your signature what you're posting on forum, moreover it works well when it is done high PR site on related subject, then it counts much..

 

backlink is still backlink no matter when it come from. And yes, i do agree that forum signature considered low rate since you can see mos of the individual page's PR is N/A although the forum with high PR

 

100% of all my pr site are from forum signature. Just i have selected all the forums sig are Dofollow , not nofollow.

 

Forum signature still works. it will also bring huge traffic, if you participate in niche forums.

 

yeah, signature links work... forums give permanent backlinks.

 

I don't believe that is true as I find that forum backlinks really helps my site by increasing SERPs and even gets me some traffic.

 

I think the links from the forum signature has a very less seo value..

 

Forum link can work but it may appear one day and missing for the rest of the weeks if there is no further activities.

They certainly don't hurt. These type of things are questioned too much, it takes longer to post than it does to add it to your signature!

 

I like clicking on interesting sigs. IMO is still works. If your niche is not the type to go on forums, then it's not effective.

 

Forums signature has much value to all webmasters who want their site rank high on any keyword

 

I think it still helps if it's related to your topic

 

obviously signatures help to boost ranking.
