My website comes in top 10 of google search result for some keywords. But why it is not coming in top 30 of Yahho Search result. I need to bring in top 10 results of yahoo for some specific keywords.
Based on my experience, Big G gives huge importance in website backlinks while Yahoo focus in on-page stuffs of a site. Now, to rank high in Yahoo, I suggest you work harder on your content and tags.
In general its difficult to get ranking in google but its easy to bring in yahoo. because yahoo is showing more back link to a site. Learn yahoo's ranking methodology.
First thing you should check your content and meta tags, they should manage properly, and also create back links no meter whether it do follow or nofollow.

There is mainly no difference in specially optimizing for one search engine. But there are 2-3 things which differs. But if things are done as per yahoo google rankings will affect a lot. But the things if done as per google then yahoo rankings will come up but will take some more time then usual. For yahoo concentrate on content and on the page things more.
I found out that yahoo is indexing links faster and accepting those that google doesn't. If google doesn't index all of your links, it means you make slower progress than in yahoo. I made approximately 10 links not so long ago and yahoo increased the rank within days literally. Include your main keyphrase first in your title, then second and make it look natural for visitors. Make a good description also including a keyword or two but be sure to make it natural, the best possible way you can. Then build backlinks from high PR authority sites. Yahoo gives more important to On-Page factors. like keyword density, meta tags, Bold and italic factors.
