Hi everybody, Which is the best way to crawl a blog interlinked with web site, My blog is attached with website which catches regularly, i have tried Ping-o-Matic several times but no crawling, Pls tell me some effective ways of crawling blogs.... Thanks in advance
When you say "blog interlinked with web site" what do you mean? www.domain.com/blog or blog.domain.com ? The best way to be crawled is to make sure you have an xml sitemap listing your blog pages, tell the SEs the address of the sitemap using your robots.txt file and make sure the appropriate SE's webmaster tools or equivalent are aware of the correct URL of the sitemap.
as lever said you must have a xml sitemap so it can tell google every thing in your blog and what is the type of your blog is it wordpress ??? if so then try to update your ping list and setup all-in-one-seo plugin
I have to agree with the others. Also do not forget about building backlinks. If the blog is attached to the main site, it is recommended to also build links to the inner pages. At least that is what my husband recommends his clients to do. I also think that your should ensure that the posts on your blogs are also optimized with your keywords and that the content IS of high quality.
if you want to crawl your blog then do social book marking of your blog, so you can get crawl easily and quickly but make sure that you can do them properly.
I would suggest to submit your blog Url in google webmaster tool. This will help you in easy crawling of your blog. This will also help in submitting XML sitemap to google directly.
to get your blog indexed on a regular basis you may simply update it regularly with unique contents and start bookmarking it.
