google analytics seems to be fairly accurate. I know it misses some information though. Anyway, does anyone know of another website i could use that would update my stats faster. Analytics only updates once a day.

Statcounter is real time, but doesn't give you the range of metrics that GA does.

In GA pageviews - which is the basic metric it's counting - are available in a couple of hours. The other metrics that are calculated from that are crunched at the end of the day and updated.

If you have access to server logs, try AWstats or other server logs analyzer.

I really doubt if starcounter is accurate. When it comes to web analytics, I would recommend omniture.

There is no tool better then GA. If you think that GA is not accurate then there is no tool which is accurate for you.

Keep analytics on for all the info it gives you, then use statcounter as well for instant numbers. It works out best :)

You don't need hourly stats. You use statcounter for instant stats alongside Google analytics for detailed stats. End of story.

Why would you use an instant stat count and a detailed statcounter AND some hourly thing? Why not just the instant and detailed?
