I think the term internet addiction is nonsense. Sure some people like to use the internet excessively but it is completely different when you compare it to drugs for example.

The internet has become an integral part of most peoples lives. Its how we share experiences...gather information....its quite literally used for almost anything. I would say its one of the greatest innovations of all time if you can look past all of the crap that is around on the web.

I would say I'm addicted. I have been on the net since I was 13 years old and the time that my computer failed was the worst time of my life. I have never been a "social butterfly" so being able to connect with people around the world from the comfort of my home allows me to stay in touch with others.

 

i am constantly on the net but i would not call it an addiction as I do many different things non internet related in a day

 

I hate porn sites. I use internet for earning purpose. I earned little $$$ through internet.
