    Generally the comment posting should be very relevant to your website theme, and see that you don't give your keywords in the name option

    If it's really relevant to your site, you will not only get a good backlink, (no follow or follow doesn't matter); you will also get targetted direct traffic..

    Yes it is beneficial as long as the comments are made on articles that are related to your niche and your comments add good value to the article. This does not mean that you will write a very long comment but one that is informative and provides insightful information on the theme of the article.
