Yes, someone stole my digital camera when I was a kid. Also one of my favorite shirts. Other then that, I have been pretty fortunate.
Offline, I've never been robbed... Almost though Online, several times I've been hacked/scammed/cheated, but it's the online world! Whaddya expect?
Yes, Back in 1982 South Bend, Indiana Wendy's Resturant. I was waiting in line to get my girl friend and I something to eat. She was across the street waiting for me. We were at a place called Moray's Party House. She was hungry and so was I. I was standing in line and this man started a fight with me in line it was about 10:30 at night. I shoved him real hard to get him away from me. He ran out the door and I followed "Stupid Thing To Do". He has a car waiting out side. He flung open the door and it was between him and I. He reached in and pulled out a double barrel shot gun. My wallet came out of my back pocket so fast it startled him. I opened it only having $20 he took it and jumped in the car and took off. I came to find out that the gun was a couple of broom sticks taped together painted black. They were working the area for a couple of months. My Uncle was a reserve police officer for the department. I felt lucky and stupid at the same time.
An unarmed 16 year old arab once attempted to steal my Ipod. Needless to say, the only thing he acquired were some bruises.
I've been robbed oh so many times. Two times at gun-point for drug deals. The first one I lost $380; the second gun-point cost me $160. The second one was the scariest, right to my head. My apartment was robbed for about $3,000 worth of stuff - my renter's insurance barely covered any of it. My first laptop was stolen in my apartment robbery; my second laptop stolen right out of my car. The second laptop I bought with the money the renter's insurance gave me. -_- Recently, my amplifier got stolen, though not the subwoofers. My life has sank miserably thanks to police trouble(s) & charges, as well as people who lie, cheat, and steal from me. My trust in people is gone. Edit: Oh I forgot about Internet fraud too. Damnit...that puts the total way above my figures of $xx,xxx just in real life.
