In another thread, they make the "crap" claim about HotFiles. Can you share your experiences and successes with us about HotFiles. I am looking to get started with uploading and would like to get as much "real world" feedback as possible. Thanks!
You can test them all ! They all have remote uploading, which makes u upload to one host and then copy them easily to others.... Let me know if you need any help with our service!
I do not use Hotfile I just use Hotfile to download I rate file host by there download speed if its great then I start using it Hotfile is in the top 3 for best download speeds for free users
For affiliates only SM, maybe for fre users HF is better, but if you wont to earn money SM is the best right now

As a free-user? No way No way Jose - well at least not without getting pretty pissed. The size is not the problem it's the download-speed for free-user. I introduced SM as a mirror and user are pretty upset because of the timer that keeps counting and counting and lame speed. And u know what I checked it and in most of the cases it is just true. Depositfiles on the other hand of course does also limit the download speed but the speed is kinda, well kinda okay for free-user. But brother 700 MB single-file there is no hoster that will reward you and offer your user highspeed or reasonable speed (and fellas don't start with the hotfile cheering). BTW. depositfiles is way better if user download few files SM if you have a buch of archives like rars cos the count multiple downloads from the same IP. But the speed at SM suckx big times. And with big times I mean a rate at 8-38 kbit/s.
Hmmm.. i usually do not like to respond to attack post but honestly it is difficult to judge the objectivity of your post with a Depositfiles referral link in your sig! 1. I am testing our current free user speed on a file right now and i am getting ~ 155kbs/s 2. Obviously it depends where you are around the world .. we try to cover all areas as fast but sometimes latency plays a role 3. I tested a file a little earlier as a premium and i got ~650kb/s 4. We are growing very fast in popularity therefore free users and premium users get more value from our service by getting the newest files on the web 5. We offer 1 file per 10mins as a free user.. this is the lowest in the industry by far I mean nobody i perfect .. but what matters is that we understand the needs of users/uploaders and we are working to better our service everyday. BTW... we are waiting for a mega server order to arrive .. stay tuned for insane speed
sharingmatrix is better. depositfiles is very bad for free users: 1- download speed is too slow for free users. (39 Kbs/s) 2- downloads are not available for all countries 3- low rates 4- Paypal only depositfiles sucks
well im on Exclusive tariff on Depositfiles..and i post clips of size less than 100mb..and i generate around 7-8$ a day..For anything above 100mb i go for Sharingmatrix....well even if the download speed may be less for Free Users..if the content is exclusive and good..ppl still do crazy downloading...
Well, I didn't mean to offend nor attack you fellas. As I said depositfiles and your host each has it's merits. And their is no kidding but you all run firms no Charity. In addition I'm also aware of the way the Internet works and that their are always variables and points that are can't be improved or changed by a service prociver like yourself. Having said that and acknowledging that, like you said yourself, are skyrocketing in terms of user popularity I'd say their is strong chance that the connections for free-user suffer under your success. And yeah this happens and of course rapidshare etc. had those issues too. The two of us know it and guess what a lotta other folks do to but most downloaders they are simply pissed if they encounter this. And wouldn't say that they were right with their claim, that if free-user pipes are most of the time very slow, if I hadn't check for myself. Checked for myselfs means that I used several connections from major europen cities and the us and let the numbers talk. BTW I hope your 650kb/s premium speed was on a connection that didn't have more to offer because 650kb/s isn't really top of the line for me ;-). Assuming you fix all issues I'd still say that Sharingmatrix isn't the hoster for everybody. E.g. folks that offer smaller files - because if one meets the Depositfiles exiclusiv a file of 1MB gets 1,5-2 ct for specific coutries and this simply can't be beat by you ;-). However if one offers downloads that consists of a lot of .rar than your are the right host because of your multiply download per IP policy. Cheers
