why bookmarking is not working?

hi to all
i have used bookmarking method for my website. but it neither shows in backlink, nor in search option but when i submit my site site it shows that u have already submitted means i am confirm i submitted it?
can anyone suggest me what's the reason??

 

Maybe you are bookmarking same web page at a same bookmarking website. better is to bookmark unique pages. Use a customized Blog for your website and post unique articles on it at daily basis n bookmark them. remember that the content of articles should be for audience not for search engines, this way will bring some traffic to your website

you got wrong point, actually problem is why none of my bookmarks is listed in backlink although i am confirm i have bookmarked it.
and it is right that i bookmarked my link instead of use any blog.

 

all bookmarks may not be considered backlink by google, if google find it valuable then only it would be accounted and that too takes 1-2 months time sometimes.
also bookmarking pages is old technique, rather bookmark your blogs and articles so you get the advantage of it.

i am sure that what have you suggest is not issue. and if i don't want to write blog or article then my website will not be on top?

yes mahendras i am agree with you some times its take one or two month, so jameswebsmith wait for some time and you will get that.

where u are finding u backlinks in google with LINK OPERATOR or u got it from yahoo site explorer...?

i get this result on yahoo and some other backlink checker tool, google don't show any link which yahoo shows.

have you check the same thing in your webmaster tool check it and let me know it's showing a back links form bookmarking which you have done or not...then i can judge about your question.. coz webmaster is most reliable tool for back link check and so on...

 

I face the same problem I am not getting even a single backlink from these website...Only it is helpful in increasing traffic...

 

some bookmarks can get the backlinks, but I think the links will get lost Continue for some time

 

Well as u've been doing these for 2 months,y not trying other ways?Bookmarking is the easiest for me.U can try submission to directory,blog comments,forum posts...not just do bookmarking.

 

maybe its because some links are being removed or the page your link placed are not index by google. I stopped doing bookmarking because some of my links are not published.

 

bookmarking sites would only give high traffic but not traffic is not targeted.

 

i am not use whether it give u backlinks or not but i always use backlink from bookmarking to get traffic solely to my site.

 

I notice the same thing, I submitting to over 200 social bookmaeking site without good results.. I guess bookmarking sites are not great for backlinking
