    Hi Guys,

Hope I'm posting this in right section.

I am about to start "banner advertisement" on one of my websites. Banners could be Flash or images. I would like the pages to randomly load a banner when it loads. I'm thinking if I should do it in actionscript or do some server side coding(I use C#)..Can someone give me a suggestion how can I effectively manage banner ads on my website? I want to achieve the above and then be able to track the click stats...I'm sure this is a very common thing all webmasters work on, I just never happened to work on this before..

    Thanks

I have to admit I'm a little rusty on this subject as I use an enterprise-level solution on my commercial website, however I do recall that for my personal sites I was looking at http://www.openx.org/ as an ad-serving solution.

OpenX is a very powerful banner ad system. I use it for my clients too. It can integrate with Google Adsense as well as your own ads. It doesn't not necessary require great programming skills (Unless you want the ad format to be XML format or if you run the ad in "Direct Selection" format). All you need to do is download the free script, run the installer, and you get yourself a own private ad server with enterprise functionality.
