How to want to create a new blog?

Hi people, I'm a newbie and I want to create a blog. I don't know much about blogging. So, if anyone could tell me what are the things that I should do first, I'd really appreciate it.

Firstly you need to get hosting account and need to register domain name for which you can setup a wordpress blog.
Go with paid hosting service rather then FREE hosting and try to get cpanel /Fantastico hosting package using which you can easily install WORDPRESS.

 

What do you want to create a blog about?

 

If you want to start blogging on the free site, then you should use Blogger.com. But if you have your own domain name & hosting, then install Wordpress. You may use Fantastico to install WordPress in just 1 click.

I guest first of all before creating a blog, you should think about these stuff:
1. What you will blog about? usually blogging about what you really like or what you are good at.
2. Are you gonna blog for free or selfhosted? if you have never blogged before, i recommend you use free services or even installing wordpress in your local computer, and then try wordpress offline, you can post something, try plugins, themes etc. Here is a video how to install wordpress for windows or Mac.
3. Once you are familiar with wordpress, then you can decide choosing blogger or wordpress.com or even wordpress.org (you need a domain name and webhost to install wordpress.org)
In blogger or wordpress.com you can blog for free.
4. Choosing blog titles names that will help your blog appear in 1st page or 2nd page of Google. Here is a video how to do the research.

You can use free service such as blogger.com and wordpress.com but if you want to invest some money then buy hosting and domain and use wordpress service as your blog powered and then you will be able to earn some more money to pay for your hosting and domain too.

 

You can use free domain like blogspot.com r wordpress.com
If you want to use paid domain, buy the domain first, buy web hosting service, then host your blog.
I prefer use wordpress to make a blog, it has very lot and useful plug-ins.

If you want to create a blog for free, here are my suggestions

blogger.com - popular and owned by google
weebley.com - lots of templates
yolasite.com - lots of templates,
wix.com - flash images available
wordpress.com - popular, for professional blog

If you are planning to earn money or put adds on your blog , use among the first 4. Free wordpress no adds or your blog get banned.
Otherwise, Pay for wordpress hosting at godaddy.com

For contents of your website, write anything you want. post any images or videos you want.
Be responsible on what you post.
