I like hearing about funny creative ideas people came up with to prank someone else...as long as it's not me. We should start listing the best pranks we've heard, then reassess if we like it or not after having a good laugh. I'll start.... I once heard of a blow up doll contraption in the back seat of a guys car parked in his garage. It was rigged to a compressed air tank, and triggered electronically to by the 12v jack in the back seat to inflate when he turned the ignition.
When I was a kid I was pretty innocent and trusting. So some other kids in school amused themselves by telling me that I was supposed to go to the principal's office because someone from my family was coming to pick me up; there had been a death in my family. I'd panic, and they'd laugh and laugh. You'd think I'd figure it out, and eventually I did. But they "got" me many times before I wised up. I had some seriously ill family members, you see. The kids pulled that trick on lots of different days, but on April 1st most of all. And that's why I hate this day. Too often the jokes are mean rather than funny. They're nothing more than an excuse for bullies to be cruel and then say that it was "just a joke".
I enjoy April Fool's day. Its an excuse to mess around with people and as long as you have a good sense of humor you can enjoy being pranked as well.
