    Hi Dpers
I have a wordpress.com sub domain movie site, It is in my signature. Recently I have got a PR updation from NA to 1. And I am happy about it, because i just tried SEO which I learned from DP and through DP.
Now my question is I like to make some money with that site. But i couldn't try affiliate marketing like CJ.com etc, because affiliate links are not allowed. So let me know what are the ways i can make some money with that site.
Can I use CPA lead? i don't know whether it is possible!
    Pls share your ideas.
    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Rajesh

    That's the problem of Wordpress.com
    It's too limited.

You better go for selfhosted Wordpress from Wordpress.org
    It's free too.
You only pay for your own hosting by your own hosting company.
Further you have no limitations for plugins or themes. :)

There are no ideas. You can't monetize a wordpress.com site. I believe they allow 1 donations link and that's it.
No adsense, No affiliate programs. No link sales. Nothing.

    Why would you think that?
Did you read the terms of service?

When you blog on someone elses' network, you have to follow their rules.
The only way to make your own rules and do what you want is to have your own stuff.

But I have added links for reciprocal links and other link exchange activities.. I know they are not allowing any affiliates link... but other link exchanges are not barred i think because the links in the site are still active, linked 3 months ago.

There is nothing wrong with link exchanges, but be careful and make sure that they are honest exchanges. They also do not let you use their platform for SEO purposes...In other words...as a traffic generator for commercial sites or affiliate programs.

If you started a blog to try and make some money, you need to self host your own blog.

No. First off there is no way to install it. Second, even if you did find a way, that would get you immediately kicked out, blog deactivated, and they probably won't even answer your emails.

There is no way and they have seen every trick in the book so you won't come up with anything original.

Not everyone sees blogging as a way to make money.

Some people actually blog because they like it..as a creative outlet, to promote causes or events, to provide information, charity and civic interests..there are a lot of reasons and a lot of different kinds of blogs and bloggers other than what you see around here.

Actually, if you were to look at the actual stats, most blogs and bloggers don't ever make any money.
Truly successful blogs are the exception to the rule. Most bloggers who blog for money as their main motivation never make any and most give up in the first 6 months.
The majority of blogs never make it a year.

You can look back at the archives of this forum and see how many new blogs and bloggers have come through here and follow those links and see that many of those blogs and websites are gone or dead.

There is nothing easy about making money at this. There's no tricks and no shortcuts.

The best blogs and the most successful ones are always born out of passion, knowledge and hard work.
That's why people always tell you to blog what you know and love..it's your best shot at being a success.
