normal SEO"Why a site with few text, no to many links and apparently no SEO work is r

My site www.helixaudiovisual.com is not ranking as high as www.bradleyfraser.com/ or www.explore360.com.
this two site dont seam to be using "normal" or "usual" SEO thechnique.
How can I find what this sites are doing?
what is my site missing?
The ranking is in google for keywords as-
cabo wedding photographer
cabo photography
cabo photographer

Maybe they have an older domain?

 

Without doing the work for you, that does seem to be the likely cause. Older domains have more 'google trust'. If your site is newer you will just have to wait that out, all the while continuing your SEO efforts.

 

Your current title tag is:

A Cabo San Lucas photographer, wedding photography is our specialty, with over 10 years of experience

whereas explore360 has the following page title

Cabo Wedding Photography, Los Cabos, Cabo San Lucas Photographers, Cabo Weddings

I would say although it's a bit over the top, their title tag along is more relevant to those searches

why not try a title tag like

Cabo Wedding Photographer | Photography Cabo | Photographer Cabo San Lucas

things like 10 years experience are things your should put in your description tag, whereas I would use the title tag for the keywords you are targetting.

As far as links are concerned, you can get loads more links in your sector, that may also send you qualified traffic. There are so many wedding portals, look around and start getting links (even recriprocals are ok ... because even if they don't give you much link juice, they may send you some traffic).

Don't know if you are using Adwords, but I would say it's also worth advertising on adwords for your important keywords.

 

i agree with bornagaintrader, your title shld be phrased to target keywords, as it is one of the more impt text used by SE

also, make sure your <h1> and <h2> tags are well phrased for keyword searches and not like your title.

It cld also be the number of backlinks to the other 2 pages compared to yours?

There are quite alot of possible reasons, go through the usual SEO checklist and make sure your site complies with them. If you have already done it all, then maybe its just a matter of waiting

 

What you need is to have some great backlinks to your website

 

target it in your title tags that will do it lol

 

And, not but not least, articles on wedding photography might also push you up in the rankings.

because it is older then 1000 days
so i forgot about it
but i can recognise my Title but this one as it was listed in my subsucribed lists i was thinking was not mine

 

After 3year, I searched 4 your above mentioned keyword "cabo wedding photographe" and your site was at no-1 ...

What have you done 4 that?

Build as many backlinks as possible..this will be a big help although it will take time.
