Question about Backlink Signature Effect for PR 0

    forums.digitalpoint.com has PR 4 but we cannot show our link in this frontpage forum.

    So we put our backlink signature in every thread that has PR 0, for example : forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1823861

    is there any good effect for SERP or increase our web PR that published at PR 0 in those threads?

    I might be not so helpful for your PR but you might expect someday it would get PR values since DP is such a hot forum online. Also, the links in your signature would definitely benefit your sites on traffics and SERP.

    Yes, back links from page rank 0 website also transfer some value to your website. It increase search position in google search.

    Don't worry about PR that much, PR value is overrated as it is the relic of old Google days when it had much bigger significance and impact on SERPs. Try to get backlinks from as much sources as possible, because Google values 100 links coming from 100 different websites much more than 100 links coming from one site.

    Why there are so many people are obsessed with PR? It does not bring a cent, its not hard-related to positions, its only a stripe in GToolbar...

    Try to get different links through different sites, forums, blogs, articles. All these will be important in PR increase. Because Google consider links through different sources.
