What would you do if you had $1,000 to start and online business? Here's what I will do. I would spend $200 dollars or less to get a social network. Target a niche (dating) Send whole bunch of traffic using free methods including viral marketing. Spend $100 to outsource link building jobs to get the website started. Join good CPA networks and advertise on the site. Make some revenue. As soon as I get 30,000 members or more, I will flip that **** J/k. -$300 I'm a click bank guy , so I would use the rest of the money to make products and host it on click bank or any other similar site, do a little launch method and have a little cash flow coming in and then use the profits to redo the process of clickbank. OR should I just say forget it?
With a thousand dollars there is a lot that one can do online... Only of course if you know how to use the money adequately and invest it where it needs to be invested.
There are too many social networks especially for dating out there...you could do a lot more and other things that will make you more money.
I think $1000 won't be enough And it is not an easy task to get 30.000 members. To achieve all this you need to have a really unique dating website and a very targeted traffic. Sorry for the pessimism
1000$ can be more than enough if you know to work. I started out with 0$ so i can say anything is possible in this crazy world. Anyway spend major portion on advertising and marketing. I mean Paris Hilton is still getting buzz despite of stupid stuff she did and its because of her BMP (Blond marketing power)

I's a competitive niche - $100 on backlinks? plentyoffish - for example - has over 2million backlinks "Send whole bunch of traffic using free methods including viral marketing" - viral marketing is free in theory, but coming up with the idea, executing it and then seeding it - costs money. Or an AMAZING imagination and a lot of luck.

There's linking service for cheap. If I just wanted links just to start out, I'll find something cheap. Plenty of fish? He is a programmer and programed that site himself and I'm pretty sure that site got lucky and went viral. I believe for most of his traffic, he did not buy all the traffic.
