which is the best designing factor should be conscider in SEO work

hello all dp member please tell me that which are the deisgning and html and CSS points hsould be consider to make an SEO friendly website also tell me positive and negative points and what should be use and what should be not use then every on in DP members can help and increase their knowledge included me

 

The basic factor is that minimize the use of flash and other heavy objects.

 

My top tips:
1)Slice any images you use to make the page load faster + include alt tags when possible
2)Avoid flash and large embedded objects e.g movies
3)Get your meta tags right - correct length, no keyword stuffing
4)Make sure your HTML is w3c valid
5)Use title attributes on links
6)Do not use the nofollow attribute for all outbound links
7)Have a clear internal linking structure to help the SE's index your site
8)Use h1 and h2 tags around keyword titles

what if i had to optimize a website that is based on flash ? does it have any chance to rank for highly competitive keywords! i think it maybe works with more of off-site work does it ?

 

Make sure to check broken links. The title, h1, h2, description, keyword, image alt tags all determine your search engine ranking. You might also want to give good names for your html pages.

 

less use of heavy programming and use html developed sites.

 

Make sure you don't use frames and use text instead of images when you can. Also make sure you optimize the meta tags and include alts for all your images.
