1, Domain Name and Age
2, Title tag, Meta Tag, Meta Description, Keywords
3, Heading Tags
4, Body contents should have keywords
5, innerLinks texts including focus keywords
7, pages size
8, Image optimizations at alt tags with keyords
9, using css and js files externally
10, broken links make harmful etc

we've to eliminates also all the html and css. It helps to get better ranks too.

 

In my own experiences, title tags would be the most important factor for on-page optimization, followed by meta description, h1 tag, keywords in page contents.

yes i agree with you Airforce1 but your less file size is best and it helps to load fast. For those purpose we've to use external file of java script and style sheet.(external js and css files would be recommended).

 

Most important thing is keywords analysis... because you cant get your site's R.O.I. without superb keyword analysis...

 

All these factors are important and in my opinion the most important is Keyword Research and Analysis

 

However, there are many action points to take during onpage optimisation process. But you can simply care about keyword based content on page, Title and Meta description, H1 and interlinking to other pages on anchor/keywords.

 

For me, #1 is the most importance.

Mintu, that list is useful if you have a big site with a lot of contents. What happen if you only have less than page website?

 

Keyword research isn't the right answer, it's understood you got to do the research, but when you do that, when you put that phrases into action, as the guy asked, what's the most important on-page element?

Absolutely correct. Google will take your title, meta tags ans meta description for the SERP pages. If your having domain name in your keyword, you are lucky. Because so many domains are already sold.
