september 15 data refresh?

usually by the next refresh which is about once a month

 

I hate Google!!! My traffic decreased by 80% !

 

This "data refresh" thing is starting to get to me... It's like being on a boat, in the middle of the ocean, with 20 foot swells... and no engine, charts or radio.

 

I lost my rankings in one of my sites. Google needs to do something fast.

This is a nice way of putting it, but I'd disagree with the radio part - DP is a radio communicatoin - but all we are really able to communicate to eacother is that we are all in the same crazy storm...

I was completely dropped from the index for a couple of my sites AGAIN on september 15th. It's funny how it doesn't hurt so bad the second or third time around... . I have stopped relying on the Big G.

 

With one of my sites, I have the same problem. Strange is that it is not very different from the bunch of others and they´re doing well (maybe get hit another time).

With each month´s Google update (from June) that site looses almost everything (all pages get stuck in supplemental index beside some 5 pages that survive in the main index, again no special difference among these 5 pages an the other 200).

After about 2-3 weeks of licking the dust from the floor, suddenly Google results change and approx. 70-80 pages get indexed (and rank quite well).

Then, again, after some 7-10 days the majority of pages returns to supplemental index (e.g. now about 25 pages are in the main index, the rest is supplemental).

Similar problem I have with one of my non-english sites (local poetry and fiction magazine/blog) where the number of pages in main index range from 60 to 300, but actually never reaches the bottom.

I am testing a lot but still fail to find the right reason.

 

This is why I say I have no radio... I agree, I do have one, it's just that I get a lot of chatter and the Coast Gaurd keeps telling me that every thing is normal and the sea are flat.

I have lost almost all the traffic comming from Google for one of my sites..

 

I just ran the kw tracker and fortunately, I still have my high rankings. In fact, between today and yesterday, there was virtually no change. Yesterday, I saw slight changes. So far, so good...

 

Yes me too - I had average 18k-20k uniques daily for one of my sites now its shot to hell to 3-4K uniques thanks to googles smart work. Took a huge hit on my earnings too - was $800-$1K daily now luck to get $200. What is up with those wacko engineers at Google?

Any chance they'll roll it back?

Cant say.. but thats what they are doing this all the time these days..
Doing something then rolling it back, then doing something again and rolling it back again..

As the result they end up messing everything..While spammers are taking over google.. Great work google..

Sure hurts to see $$ go down near instantly. I guess we all have to start working on viral marketing and fad sites to get some real steady dosh rather than relying Big Goofy to send us traffic.

Well My site was 3 year old, Family friendly and not at all MFA site.


What I find funny about Google,
My MFA/Blackhat sites are improving in ranking but legit site(Which is top in MSN and Yahoo) had lost ranking in Google..geez.

 

i think google just reverted some datacenters back to some older results.
