Blog comments on dofollow blogs is a great way to build natural links. If you focus on variety you can really build a nice link profile.

The pain in the butt is finding dofollow blogs with a high PR that allow comments.

Best way is to find 10-20 and to keep posting to them.

Here's a great tool to help you find blogs based on keywords:
http://www.webconfs.com/backlink-builder.php

It will give you a good list of relevant sites that accepts links. All you have to do is to make sure they are dofollow.

My favorite is Market Samurai - it does the same thing, but gives you PR and dofollow status all in one search - it's the fastest way to build blog links.

 

Because they're as worthless as counterfeit money compared to merit-based links. Just a small handful (2-5) of good merit-based links can wipe out an entire armada of the types of links I mentioned as being ineffective.
