Hello all, I have managed to get a fairly good link for my theme keyword but the company has linked back with a banner which looks great but whats it like as an actual link back? is it far better to have a text link regarding SEO???? Cheers and thanks for any feedback mrix
I always prefer contextual links embedded in the meat of the content, but will take a free banner/image link any day. I usually ask the person linking use my keywords: 1. in image alt tag 2. in image title tag 3. in link title tag 4. or sometime i ask them to hotlink an image on my site as well. Most times, they do!
hey, it doesn't matter that your exchange of link banner or text but make sure that Link must be have your theme.
Banner links are good but try to get text links from sites as they are more effective. Textual links do not only increases the weight of your keyword but they also maximizes the weight of your link.
