How to Improve my SEO Strategy

Hello All,

I have currently been working night and day to build my site, www.outplaypoker.com 's SEO campaign up.

I have currently used <h1> and <h2> tags, title tags, <alt> image tags, meta-data, and bold links for on page optimization. As well I have changed all category pages to have better meta data.

As for off page optimization I have analyzed the top 3 competitors and have received links from many of the same sites they link to. As well I have linked to more sites they have not that are all relevant to my website.

On top of this I am now in the process of creating a blog for my site to get even more authority. I will link every page of my blog back to my home sites url and most likly sell a few links as well to help lessen the cost of my own SEO campaign.

I cannot use Adwords at the moment because for some reason it says I need a Gambling certificate, when other sites exactly like mine do not.

So I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on where to go from here? Should I just wait it out until Google updates my sites data or what? I am not really seeing any results in the rankings from google yet and am wondering when I might see some?

What about writing an article and submitting it to ezine articles. You could write a squidoo lens, a hub page, a wordpress blog, a blogger blog, a scribd page and make sure you link them all to your site. Gambling (as far as Google is concerned) can be one subject the have on their hit list.

 

try to implement Web 2.0 and submit it to social bookmarking sites.

 

I already am working on creating a blog. But thank you for the idea of the squidoo lens.

u can improve it through seo chat, and also join seo community.

 

Do some article marketing along with the blog. When it comes to quality backlinks, you can never have too many. Every article or blog posting you create is another link pointing at your site. It may take awhile, so be patient!

 

what about a link wheel ?? I have heard about this, but have no idea how it work.....T_T

Just keep trying to get back links from articles submission to major articles directories, make useful comment on blogs related to your niche, making links from web 2.0 such as squidoo, hubpages. And the most important part, PRAY

 

through on page, off page. you can improve seo strategy.

 

SEO is really effective tool for website its a exposure of your website not just locally but globally.Avoid too many graphical images and programs like Java, Flash, etc. which results in lower rankings and less traffic.

 

I would highly recommend writing some Original Content Articles and posting them to Ezinearticles.com and Goarticles.com. I would also some social bookmarking using Pingomatic and Social Marker. This will help greatly.

 

Generate more backlinks as well as participate in SMO sites like Facebook, Twitter.

Well First Check Your Urls Structure that what URL Structure You are currently Using and how you can change these Structure by using 301 Redirect.. Did You Submit Your Site on Google Webmaster Tools? If Not Submit it on Webmaster Tools.. Create an Sitemap as well..
