How to get from 2nd or 3rd page to this first in Google?

Is there one most important factor that determines how sites are ranked? If there are more backlinks to a page, will it be ranked higher than pages with fewer backlinks? Or does Google give aged sites a higher and new sites will just have to wait it out?

 

There are many factors to rank higher for any given keyword than backlinks only.
One of the most important factor is your anchor text within the backlinks.
Place the important keywords as anchor text..
Internal page linking is another important factor. Onsite optimization (keywords withing your title, header, meta and body text) is also important.

obviously more backlinks are always better but not optimize and non-relevant backlinks wont help you much with SERP.

 

Aged sites is a factor, backlinks is a factor, content is a factor... There's many others...

Just work on your site, and keep it fresh, and in time it should raise up through the ranks... There's no magic key to hit page 1 though

 

also consider how competetive your keywords is...

back links with many pr3+ pages will gurante that for you

 

yes i've gained first page and first position on google for my own site

 

Its not only back links with high PR its also other factors such as the content, anchor texts with in the content, keyword density, Age of the site...etc.

 

Build as many links as you can to high PR but make sure you have good quality content and keyword enriched articles.

Age is a factor but SEO and keywords are essential. I like keyword density about 5% but I have seen some people say up to 8% but certainly never exceed that amount otherwise it could be regarded as spam. Do SEO on page and off page. Links are important. It is a combination of all of these factors. Make sure you have good unique content.

Google will consider which is having more back links, It not consider who is aged sites.

 

what the exact meaning of keyword density.I know the keywords which I used in seo work. but I didnt know the meaning of density keyword.

 

Ranking is not depend on site age but it depend on good backlink.
