    I wrote a post back in 2007 that was a tongue-in-cheek look at web directory ownership.

    About a year ago I revamped it a bit and posted it on Google Knol where it has been well received.

    Looking for directory owners to add their own step in the comments and to also help make the main content a little more current. I don't mind open it up to collaboration with the right person/people or starting a new Knol.
